Born in 1988, Antoine Orand graduated in 2014 from the Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR, Strasbourg). Based between Paris and the Loire Valley, his practice is shaped by constant movement and fragmentation, oscillating between a desire for minimalism and an attraction to excess, saturated color, and pop baroque energy.
Working across collage, drawing, and painting, Orand explores tension between strict observation and gestural freedom, magnifying fragments of everyday objects and landscapes while infusing ordinary situations with narrative potential.
